TrainClear Privacy Policy

Overview

TrainClear is a workout organization and training application. This policy explains the information processed when you use TrainClear, why it is processed, and the choices available to you.

Information processed by TrainClear

Workout and app data stored on your device

TrainClear stores workout routines, workout history, schedules, preferences, and related training information on your device so the app can provide its core features.

Workout content submitted for processing

When you choose to import or generate a workout, the photo, image, workout text, or workout preferences you submit are transmitted to TrainClear's service infrastructure so the requested workout can be processed and returned to the app.

Subscription information

Purchases are processed by Apple. TrainClear uses RevenueCat to determine whether TrainClear Premium is active. TrainClear does not receive your full payment-card details.

Technical information

TrainClear and its service providers may process limited technical information such as IP address, request timestamps, app or device identifiers, and diagnostic information when necessary to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.

How information is used

Information is used to:

• import and structure workouts you submit;
• generate workouts when you request that feature;
• save and run workouts and training schedules;
• verify Premium subscription access;
• maintain security, reliability, and service performance; and
• respond to support requests.

Service providers

TrainClear relies on service providers to deliver specific features. These include Apple for App Store purchases, RevenueCat for subscription entitlement management, and OpenAI for workout content processing and generation.

TrainClear does not sell personal information and does not use third-party advertising trackers to build advertising profiles.

AI processing

Workout content submitted for supported import or generation features may be processed through the OpenAI API. OpenAI states that API inputs and outputs are not used to train its models by default. OpenAI may retain abuse-monitoring logs for a limited period as described in its API data-control documentation.

Retention and deletion

Workout information stored locally remains on your device until you remove it through the app or remove the app and its local data.

TrainClear may retain limited service and security logs for as long as reasonably necessary to operate and protect the service. Third-party providers retain information according to their own applicable policies and service agreements.

Security

TrainClear uses reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information transmitted to its services. No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children's privacy

TrainClear is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through TrainClear, contact us so we can review the request.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as TrainClear changes. The current version will be posted on this page with its effective date.
