Privacy Policy
After the Test: Driver Field Guide is designed to work without an account, advertising profile, analytics account, or location tracking.
App data
The app stores course progress locally on the user's device so lessons can show as not started, attempted, or complete. This local progress is not transmitted by the app to ReadyCheck or to an After the Test server.
The app does not use GPS or location services, does not require an account, and does not include advertising or analytics tracking.
Third parties
The app does not intentionally share app user data with advertising networks, analytics providers, or data brokers. If the app's software dependencies change in a future version, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be reviewed and updated as appropriate.
Retention and deletion
Because course progress is stored locally, there is no server-side copy of that progress for us to retain. Users can reset local course progress from within the app. Removing the app also removes app data stored with that installation, subject to normal device and operating-system backup behavior.
Support communications
If you email support, we receive the information you choose to include in that message, such as your email address and the contents of your request. We use that information to respond to the request and for reasonable support, security, and recordkeeping purposes. You may ask us to delete a support conversation when it is no longer needed, subject to legal or security requirements.
This website
This website does not use advertising or analytics scripts. Like most web hosting infrastructure, the server may create standard request and security logs containing information such as IP address, requested path, timestamp, and user-agent information. Those logs are used for security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and reliability, not for advertising or cross-site tracking, and are retained only as reasonably necessary for those operational purposes.
Children
After the Test is an educational driving-safety product and is not designed to create accounts or collect personal information from children. The app does not intentionally collect personal information through the app.
Changes
If the app's data practices materially change, this policy will be updated and the effective date will be revised.
